Speech therapy resources that may help!

When I came to accept that there was a serious problem (this took awhile) with the boys communication, I only thought about speech and speech therapy. At this point I did not understand that the boys’ problems centered on difficulties in organizing their visual reasoning and had serious sensory issues, for a start. This made language meaningless even when it presented which was rare and sporadic at best.

So started a journey of understanding of the true issues the boys had and how they potentially could be treated. On our journey to developing ALL, we learned a great deal about speech therapy and sensory integration in particular among several other interventions which ultimately informed our language research.

Here are summaries of some communication therapies which I hope will provide you some insights into classical clinical interventions.
